about

In 1962, during NASA's Mercury Seven space mission, pilots Slayton and Cooper saw a piece of what looked like debris floating outside their shuttle. As they came closer to it, they saw that it was a reel of reel-to-reel tape. The label on the containing box read "Blista - Eclipse Part Two". It was a very strange find and to this day there are many unanswered questions. How did this reel of tape make it's way into outer space? Who is Blista? Is there a part one to "Eclipse"?

The tape has recently been remastered with cutting edge technology and released on 30th Floor Records for the listening pleasure of everyone. The EP is now known as 'Mercury Seven' based on how the tape was uncovered and released as this unknown 'Blista' artist. No one knows where it came from, but right now you can listen to it. Enjoy.

This EP is my departure from pure electronic music. In ten years to come, if you listen to the Blista discography chronologically, you will hear a spectrum of music, starting with pure electronic music and moving further and further away from that as time goes on, and maybe back to it again.
